First time I bothered to photograph both my cars together. The bimmer is now a weekend only fun car whilst the avalon valiantly deals with the daily grind. Still can’t believe this car cost me only $1100 with only 90k km. Since then I bought it new tires, and a Sony head unit so I can have Bluetooth. Oh and a fluoro towbcall cover to liven things up a little. The old man straw
hat in the back parcel shelf was a requirement by law I’m pretty sure.

The rear 3/4 view makes the Avalon actually look... good?!. I never thought I’d ever say that.

W ow 1100AUD is a steal for one this clean. I once b riefly drove the rattiest Avalon on earth and even then I was surprised how solid it still felt.

Bought it sight unseen at auction and got lucky. The bodywork has some minor dents etc but the interior and mechanical s are perfect.
Taking the car apart for the stereo install and a few other things has really shown why it feels that way. There is little bits of padding between everything and the plastics used arn’ t brittle. Honestly a lot of the stuff is more solid than the Bimmer
